In 1998, the LODING Company opens its first shop located 23, rue de Berri in the 8th district of Paris on the basis of a concept of single price by article. During year 1999, LODING opens two new Parisian shops, boulevard Raspail and avenue Raymond Poincaré.
Within 10 years, the LODING network counted already 11 shops among which two opened in provinces, in the cities of Nantes and Toulouse.
